oh dear.
it was truly a long and hard day.
all for money.
was a job introduced by my sister.
helping with the giving out of balloons and flyers down at the north side.
particularly woodlands, causeway point.
noel and i both helped out there.
trust me, i did Not know i had to deal with kids.
or rather, my sis did mention it to me, but i probably didn't take that into consideration.
the money factor was simply tempting.
ahh.
imagine this.
a crowd of kids scrambled all over, tremendously near you.
with those huge eyes glaring (yes glaring to me, noel would say it's looking though) at you, as though you OUGHT to give them the balloons.
and when you don't, they threaten to tear, scream, run, complain, whine....
goodness.
i have no idea how else to describe my day.
parents were drifted far away from their kids, sending out army of kids to 'collect' those balloons and attempting Not to take the flyer or listen to us.
like, come on.
it doesn't kill, does it?
i know, i know.
i was a kid before.
i was once, foolish, annoying, irritating and terrifying like those kids.
HOWEVER,
now that i'm not, i don't see why i can't choose to dislike or be afraid of them.
right.
noting when i say kids, it doesn't include BABIES, or TODDLERS.
i only meant children who are able to talk decently and when their calves give them the ability to run.
i love babies.
come on, i do.
alrighty, it wasn't All that bad.
was just a fair bit of work for thirty bucks.
noel was dead beat.
we tied balloons, blow up balloons and put them securely on a stick.
my nail hurt.
and chipped further.
oh and did i mention.
my sister made a bad sketch of the exact place, woodlands community club.
and noel and i had to cab there instead because we were Really late.
bad.hahha.
while in the cab, we saw that the woodlands cc was only a u-turn away.
but the meter was already at $3.80.
noel was pretty determined to keep it at $4.
he did something really funny.
the moment the cab hit $4, and continued running, before it increased to $4.20 noel said, 'STOP STOP UNCLE STOP!'
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
okay, so we saved 20-40 cents.

well well, at least i did earn some money today!
i hope students will bloom in The Writer's Place!
hahaha.
